With the brand new DVB-S2 FBC Twin Tuner from Dream, you can expand your Dreambox DM900 into a DVB-S2 multi-tuner receiver.
With its 8 demodulators, the FBC Dual Tuner offers enormous possibilities for simultaneous recording. The signal fed to the inputs is supplied internally to the 8 installed demodulators.
This tuner is distinguished by its compact size, low heat development and low energy consumption. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology from semiconductor expert BroadCom, the new Twin Tuner expands the reception options of the Dreambox.
The Dreambox DVB-S2 FBC Twin Tuner is compatible with the Dreambox DM900 HD 4K.
A DVB-S2 Twin Tuner FBC has 8 demodulators. This is equivalent to a receiver with 8 standard DVB-S/S2 tuners. This is a unique 8 tuner in 1 technology. This allows you to watch, stream or record up to 8 channels on different transponders at the same time.
With two standard dish connections (e.g. Twin-LNB), it is possible to process 2 separate signals with this unique FBC technology. In addition, the FBC technology allows the 2 separate signals to be looped through to 6 additional internal tuners that work in loop-through mode. This allows you to watch, stream or record TV channels from 8 different transponders from 2 different satellites (e.g. Astra 1 and Astra 3) simultaneously.
In SCR mode (Unicable), the VU+ Uno 4K with 8 frequencies is equal to 8 standard tuners. This makes full use of the 8 tuner FBC technology.
