The DUO LNB from ASTRA and CanalDigitaal is, simply put, an LNB with which you can easily receive multiple satellite positions. The ASTRA 19.2 and ASTRA 23.5 satellite positions, with which you can enjoy CanalDigitaal's extensive range of channels. There are two versions of the DUO LNB available.
DUO LNB Quad
The DUO LNB Quad has four outputs to which you can connect coaxial cables. This way you can provide up to four receivers in your home with radio and TV signals, or you can watch and record television independently on two receivers with recording options.
Of course you can also simply connect one satellite receiver to the DUO LNB.
Suitable dish
The DUO LNB (Twin and Quad) has been developed for use with the commonly used 64cm Triax dish. It is important to check whether your dish is suitable for use with the DUO LNB.
Suitable recipient
The DUO LNB sends satellite signals from multiple satellite positions through the coaxial cable to your satellite receiver. You therefore also need a suitable satellite receiver that can distinguish the signals from multiple satellite positions and translate them into images and sound on your television.
In a technical term this is called DiSEqC: Digital Satellite Equipment Control. It is important that you have a suitable satellite receiver that has DiSEqC support for use with the DUO LNB.
