What is a DVB-S2 FBC or a DVB-C FBC Twin Tuner?
A DVB-S2 Twin Tuner FBC has 8 demodulators. This is equivalent to a receiver with 8 standard DVB-S/S2 tuners. This is a unique 8 tuner in 1 technology. This allows you to view, stream or record up to 8 channels on different transponders at the same time in combination with a Unicable LNB.
With two standard dish connections (e.g. Twin-LNB), it is possible to process 2 separate signals with this unique FBC technology. In addition, the FBC technology allows the 2 separate signals to be looped through to 6 additional internal tuners that work in loop-through mode. This allows you to watch, stream or record TV channels from 8 different transponders from 2 different satellites (e.g. Astra 1 and Astra 3) simultaneously.

Unicable in combination with FBC

In SCR mode (Unicable), the VU+ DUO 4K SE with 8 frequencies is equal to 8 standard tuners. This makes full use of the 8 tuner FBC technology.
